A resident of Dyer, Indiana, Phil has racing experience and success in various forms of racing including stock car, motorcycles and drag racing.  Over the past 18 years, Phil has proven to be both consistent and competitive in his stock car racing career.

In 1990, Phil's passion to be a race car driver was increased working for local track champion, John Brolick.  After crewing most of the season, Phil was given an opportunity to be the driver in the street stock division of Raceway Park in Blue Island, Illinois - and it wasn't long before taking the checkered flag.

In 1991, operating with a start-up team/program and small budget, Phil built his first race car and competed in the Enduro Division at Raceway Park.  In that same year, Phil also became an entrepreneur of a Limousine Service.  With his time limited, he still had the desire to race, so Phil continued the Enduro Division at Raceway Park.  Phil's talent, charisma and dedication had prevailed - ultimately, winning his first Enduro that same year.  In 2000, Phil would eventually break the record of Enduro championships at Raceway Park, with 10 total wins.

Seeking the next level of competition, Phil was introduced to the annual Kalamazoo Speedway National Enduro Championship running side-by-side with some of Midwest's best drivers (David Stremme, Tristan Dupuis) including a $10K purse.  With a bit of racer luck in the beginning, Phil progressed to consistently running in the top 5 and 10 positions of a 90 car field.

Phil became a crew member of BRN Motorosporst in the 2000-2001 American Speed Association (ASA) Racing Series.  His responsibilities would include tire man, marketing coordinator, and travel agent of the team.  Throughout 2001, BRN Motorsports competed in 13 out of the 20 televised ASA racing events with a best place finish of 7th, which included driver Pat Kelly and Tristan Dupois .  Phil also tested the ASA car with impressive times on the track and was involved in the production of a film for International as the driver of the ASA car.

2003-2004 - Phil was given the opportunity to be a driver in the Late Model Division by car owner John Ferry.  In those two years, Phil was able to get seat time and side-by-side action on the superfast 1/2-mile track at Illiana Motor Speedway.

2005 - Phil had the opportunity to be owner and driver of a Limited Late Model.  Starting late in the season at Illiana Motor Speedway, Phil was very strong and in 10 races had 8 top 5's including 2 Feature Wins to complete the season.

2006 - Phil placed 2nd at the Illiana Speedway opening season feature race for Limited Late Model.

2007 - Illiana Track Champion

2008 - Second Place Finish - Illiana Motor Speedway

2009 - Third Place Finish - Illiana Motor Speedway

2010 - Fifth Place Finish with 1 Feature Win - Illiana Motor Speedway
